A US fast-food chain has opened this week and customers were queued up to get a taste.
Wendy's launched its Brighton location yesterday, Tuesday, March 1.
The location occupies the space where Gap on Western Road used to be.
It is the sixth restaurant to open in the UK, with outlets in Reading, Oxford, Stratford, Croydon and Romford opening last year.
The Argus was invited for a sneak peek last week where staff told of their excitement for the new store.
Paul Hilder, managing director for Wendy's UK, said: "Brighton is a vibrant, inclusive community and we are thrilled to be welcomed with open arms to Brighton's thriving food scene.
"As we look to expand our brand presence across England, our restaurant opening in Brighton puts us one step closer to bringing more Wendy's to more customers across the country.
"We also know convenience is key, and this restaurant offers access to Wendy's high-quality, made-to-order food through dine-in, take away and delivery."
The Brighton branch serves Wendy’s signature menu items including the Baconator burger, Spicy Chicken Sandwich and their Frosty dessert.
It is following other UK sites in serving exclusive vegetarian options such as the Veggie Stack.
Customers will also be able to order food from the outlet straight to their door with UberEats.

Founded in 1969, the chain is known for other signature items including chilli con carne, baked potatoes and loaded fries.
The company and its franchisees employ hundreds of thousands of people, with around 7,000 restaurants worldwide.
The opening of the Brighton restaurant follows the news that bosses plan to open a further 50 sites across the country next year.
New locations planned for 2022 include the Midlands, and discussions are ongoing with franchise partners in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Wendy’s also opened five dark kitchens in partnership with Reef to offer deliveries on food platforms including Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
The chain said it also has eyes on moving into Europe, with launches in France, Germany and Spain.
The new Brighton restaurant’s opening hours are 7am–10pm from Mondays to Thursdays, 7am–11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 8am to 10pm on Sundays.
