A MAN has been banned for failing to provide information to police to identify the driver of a vehicle after an alleged driving offence.
Flavio Kankanige Silva has been ordered to pay a total of £816 by Brighton magistrates following the offence in Shoreham on July 2, 2021.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months. Disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending, court documents state. His licence had six penalty points added.
The 49-year-old was fined £660 and disqualified from driving for six months.
Silva, of Brading Road, Brighton, will also have to pay £66 to fund victim services and £90 in court costs.
