A MAN has been fined and given six points for speeding on the A270.
Timothy Cattermole has been ordered to pay a total of £410 by Crawley magistrates after being caught driving above 30mph in his Volkswagen Golf on the A270 Lewes Road in Brighton on February 22 last year.
The 48-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Cattermole, of Oaktree Cottages, Danehill, Haywards Heath, was fined £266 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £110 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
