SEX tourists are being warned not to visit a popular beauty spot following an increase in “dogging” reports.
The Ashdown Forest has reportedly become a “dogging hotspot”, according to Sussex Police.
The force said the area of outstanding beauty, and surrounding car parks, should not be used for sexual activity.
It is increasing patrols around the forest as a response to the reports.
A police spokesman said: “The Ashdown Forest is a beautiful place visited regularly by families and people relaxing and unwinding.
“We remind visitors that this wonderful space and the surrounding car parks should not be the location for acts of a sexual nature amongst consenting adults.
“Those engaging in these acts could be arrested and charged with outraging public decency.
“Following a number of reports, we are increasing patrols in the Ashdown Forest area. We encourage anyone concerned by any behaviour they see to contact us on 101 or online”.
