A LORRY has crashed into a railway bridge causing major train disruptions.
The vehicle crashed into the bridge near Barnham at about 10.07am on Friday, February 25.
Southern Rail announced that due to the incident, trains were forced to run at a reduced speed while going through the area.
“You may be delayed by up to five minutes,” a spokeswoman said.
By 11.05am, the disruption had been cleared.

This means that trains will have to run at a reduced speed through the area.

The lorry crashed followed further disruptions to the railway overnight.
At about 11.35pm on Thursday, February 24, a train has hit “an obstruction on the line” between Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour.
Southern Rail announced the line was blocked as a result.
“If you are at a station between Portsmouth Harbour and Chichester or if you need assistance with onward travel, please speak to station staff or press the green help point button,” a Southern Rail spokeswoman said.
By 2.17am on Friday, February 25, the disruption had been cleared.
