A MAN has been fined for drinking alcohol outside Greggs – breaking his community protection notice.
Melvyn Jones was caught drinking from a can of alcohol outside Greggs in Queens Road, Hastings, by Hastings Borough Council Civil Enforcement Officers on October 28, 2021.
The 57-year-old was therefore failing to comply with his community protection notice.
Jones, of Broomgrove Road, Hastings, was also caught drinking alcohol in Hastings town centre on two further occasions last year.
He was fined £80 for each offence and must also pay £85 court costs and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
