AN ARTISAN bakery is celebrating the opening of its seventh store in the city.
Flour Pot Bakery opened the doors to its new venue in Kings Parade, Ditchling Road in Brighton yesterday.
The bakery already has stores in Elm Grove, First Avenue, Portland Road, Seven Dials, Sydney Street and Brighton beach.
A spokesman for the bakery said: Our brand-new location at Fiveways is a fresh, open space with lots of seating both inside and out.
“It carries all the distinctive Flour Pot features, black and white harlequin tiles, copper piping and of course our delicious bread, pastries, cakes and coffee.”
Flour Pot also announced that it is to begin serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch from Friday.
The new venue has already been visited by social media star Poppy Deyes - sister of YouTube star Alfie Deyes.
Poppy, 30, shared a photo of the fresh pastries on offer to her one million Instagram followers.
The chain has just one venue outside of Brighton in Rectory Road, Worthing.
In September last year, Flour Pot opened a take-away stand in Kings Way, Hove, close to the Lagoon.
Shortly after its launch, radio presenter Zoe Ball took to Instagram to share her visit to the new stand for a coffee and a loaf of sourdough.
