A CYCLIST was seriously injured after he was hit by a car on the A21.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on the A21 London Road, Hurst Green, on Tuesday, February 1.
The cyclist, a 34-year-old man, reported being clipped by a passing light-coloured vehicle near the junction with Foundry Close at around 2.45pm.
He fell from his bike and suffered seriously injuries.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop after the collision, a police spokeswoman said.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Anybody who witnessed the incident, has relevant dash cam footage or any information which could help with the investigation is asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 0601 or 01/02.
