A POWER outage has left Gatwick Train Station without power as Storm Eunice causes havoc across Sussex.
The outage has prevented trains from operating to and out of the station.
An airport spokesman said that it is "unknown at this time when operations will resume".
The news comes as thousands of homes have been left without power across the county, from Horsham to Hailsham.
Gusts of up to 80mph have caused the airport's inter-terminal shuttle to be closed, with a bus replacement in operation.
The airport has urged the public to check the status of their flights with their airline before travelling to Gatwick and allow extra time for their journey.
Several flights have been cancelled at the airport, with one flight forced to abandon its landing at the airport and return to Bordeaux.
