A CAR has been struck by a fallen tree that has slipped down a slope.
Strong winds have caused a tree to be uprooted and land on a parked car in Blatchington Road, Seaford.
Pictures taken from the scene show the large trunk across the roof of the black Ford Focus.
The road appears to be partially blocked as the tree's branches cover the road, near the Mend-All garage.
It is the latest in damage caused by Storm Eunice this afternoon, with a Range Rover also being crushed in Southwick.
The Met Offices said flying debris could cause "danger to life" today, as the forecaster ramped up the alert level to red.
Met Office chief meteorologist Paul Gundersen said: “After the impacts from Storm Dudley for many on Wednesday, Storm Eunice will bring damaging gusts in what could be one of the most impactful storms to affect southern and central parts of the UK for a few years.
An amber warning also remains in place until 9pm.
