UK Power Network has reported several outages across the county with hundreds of homes left without power.
A rare and "dangerous" weather warning has been issued for parts of Sussex, covering Brighton and other parts of the county from 10am until 3pm today.
Meanwhile Sussex is under an amber weather warning for strong winds and disruption until 9pm.
Brighton power cuts
There is currently one power cut listed on the UK Power Networks website affecting the Brighton area.

Reason for the power cut: An underground electricity cable has faulted on the high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut.
