PUBLIC attractions across Sussex have been closed due to the "dangerous" weather caused by Storm Eunice.
The Met Offices said flying debris could cause "danger to life" after a red weather warning was issued in Brighton and other parts of the county.
As a result, a number of public attractions and venues are closed for safety reasons.
These include:
The British Airways i360, Brighton
Brighton and Hove Albion Club Superstore, Brighton
National Trust – Standen House and Garden, East Grinstead
Hastings Museum and Art Gallery, Hastings
National Trust – Sheffield Park and Garden, Uckfield
Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne
All East Sussex County Council libraries
National Trust – Petworth House and Park, Petworth
Weald and Downland Living Museum, Singleton
Denmans Garden, Fontwell
National Trust – Wakehurst Kew Gardens, Haywards Heath
Train travellers have also been urged to rethink their journeys as stormy conditions threaten disruption on the railways.
Strong winds from Storm Eunice could cause trees to be blown on to train lines, possibly leading to delays and cancellations, the Rail Delivery Group said.
A Network Rail spokesman said disruption is “inevitable”.
The railway operator said there will be blanket speed restrictions of 50mph in most places, with winds forecast to reach 90mph in some areas.
