THE air ambulance was called to reports that someone had fallen from the roof of a building.
Ambulance crews went to Southdown Road in Portslade, Brighton shortly before 8.30am this morning to reports of someone who had “fallen from height.”
The person was assessed at the scene and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Eastern Road, Brighton by road rather than helicopter.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to Southdown Road, Portslade, at approximately 8.30am today, to reports a person had suffered a fall from height.
“Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service. The person was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital by road.”
