A CRASH on the A22 which left the road blocked is causing one hour delays.

The incident which happened around 7am this morning is causing one hour delays northbound on the A22 by Uckfield. Meanwhile, delays southbound are around 45 minutes.

The crash is between the A26 Lewes Road and B2102 by the Copwood roundabout.

Motorists are trying to divert through Uckfield which is causing congestion in the town.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said no serious injuries have been reported.

She said: "Police responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A22 at Uckfield, around 7.05am on Tuesday (February 15). 

"No serious injuries have been reported."
