A 53-YEAR-OLD man assaulted a paramedic and damaged medical equipment.
Anthony Addis was given a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, for the attack in Ferring in July last year.
He assaulted paramedic David Stevenson and used threatening and abusive language to him and a woman.
Addis, of Canada Grove, Bognor, damaged a £280 blood pressure machine.
He admitted assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage and threatening behaviour.
He was also in breach of a previous suspended sentence for which he was fined £50.
In addition to the suspended sentence, Worthing magistrates ordered him to pay a total of £580 compensation.
