THERE is a heavy police presence at an incident near a city centre bus stop.
Pictures taken at the scene show a large police cordon is in place at the top of North Street, Brighton.
An eyewitness said there were dozens of officers, including armed police, and eight police cars stationed along the busy road.
Brighton and Hove Buses said that due to an “incident” at Imperial Arcade, it was diverting several its services.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
