A GROUP of climate protesters caused traffic disruption when they planted themselves in the middle of a city centre road this afternoon.
Dozens of Youth Climate Swarm activists brought traffic to a standstill on Saturday by blocking North Street, Brighton during the weekend rush.
Cars were forced to turn around to avoid long delays, while several bus services were also disrupted.

Footage taken from the city centre shows the group sitting down underneath the Jubilee Clock Tower while dozens of people watched on.
Officers from Sussex Police were seen talking to the group and frustrated drivers.
Youth Climate Swarm use the tactic of "swarming" or repeatedly blocking roads for short periods to cause disruption and publicise their demands.
The activists are aiming to pressure the national government into accepting the demands laid out on their website, which are: to "just stop oil", free transport and insulate Britain.
