HIP HOP trio De La Soul have announced a show in Brighton as part of their 30th anniversary tour.
The tour, called Celebrating 30 Years Of De La Soul, is set to begin in spring this year.
De La Soul will take to the stage at Chalk on Monday, March 21.
Formed in the United States in 1988, the group consists of Posdnuos, Trugoy and Maseo.
The band’s debut album 3 Feet High and Rising was the band's biggest commercial success to date.
In 2006, the group won a Grammy award for their collaboration with Gorillaz on the single Feel Good Inc and later joined Gorillaz on several world tours.
Shortly after, they started work on their latest album And The Anonymous Nobody, which became the second most funded Kickstarter project in history and featured contributions from artists including Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Usher and Estelle.
As part of their 30th anniversary tour, De La Soul are also due to perform in Birmingham, Southampton, Cardiff and Nottingham.
Tickets are available now through Gigantic or Chalk.
