A WOMAN accused of stealing more than £500 worth of alcohol from a supermarket has been cleared.
Relu Popa, 25, was found not guilty after being accused of shoplifting £512.38 from Asda in Brighton Marina on April 16, 2021.
Popa, of Park Avenue, Barking, was cleared of the crime at Brighton Magistrates' Court on September 24 last year.
The interpreter's fee was also ordered to be paid from central funds.
