A MAN has been ordered to carry out more than 200 hours of community service after pleading guilty to fraud.
Marcus Heading paid for goods online using a debit card that did not belong to him, and without the knowledge of its owner.
The 29-year-old of Elm Grove, Brighton pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Heading was given a community order and told to complete 225 hours of unpaid work before February 1, 2023.
He was also handed a two-year restraining order, banning him from contacting the owner of the debit card.
The court ordered Heading to pay £681.93 in compensation, a surcharge of £95 and costs of £100.
