TEQUILA is on the menu, as a national gin and rum festival adds a Mexican twist to its Brighton and Hove date.
The Gin and Rum festival will host a huge party event at the Hilton Brighton Metropole this summer, with the newest edition to its line-up, a tequila bar.
Its debut visit to Brighton, the festival will run two shows, with talks from professionals and chance to sample plenty of spirits.
Bobby Nanua, Festival Director, said: “With the rise in tequila sales and interest in general, it made sense for us to include tequila within our festival.
“Covid-19 has allowed people to explore more spirits at home and hopefully this will follow through in events throughout 2022.”
Alongside tequila, the event on Saturday, July 30, will stock over 120 of the world’s top gins and rums, with many exclusive to the festival.

There will also be talks from expert distillers, as well as DJs and a street-food market, as the day-event stops in Sussex on its fourth year travelling around the UK.
