A BURGLAR who stole a quad bike from a barn has been given a community order.
Dean Jesse Wells took the bike from a building in Burwash near Battle on December 7, 2020.
The 39-year-old, of Kingston Road in Hampden Park near Eastbourne, this week pleaded guilty to the theft.
He was ordered to take part in a thinking skills programme and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
Wells has been ordered to pay £95 to fund victim services, as well as £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service which must be paid by March 3, 2022.
