POLICE have increased patrols near an allotment after a spate of anti-social behaviour and shed break-ins.
The increased presence of officers follows a rise in reports of anti-social behaviour and shed breaks around the allotments in Malling, Lewes.
Lewes Police said the incidents, which involve youths, tend to happen in the late evening.
“Should you be in the area and notice persons who shouldn't there, or individuals causing damage or anti-social behaviour, please contact us at the time,” a police spokesman said.
Every Friday and Saturday, additional anti-social behaviour patrols will also be taking place across the town.
The public are encouraged to call 07989188960 between 4pm and 10pm to report any anti-social behaviour directly to officers out on patrol.
Outside of these times, you are urged to report online or by ringing 101.
