A LORRY driver has been fined for drink-driving.
Ion-Daniel Toroiman was caught driving an Iveco cab lorry at East Quay in Newhaven with 86 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on January 22 this year.
Toroiman, of no fixed address, was ordered to pay a total of £389 including a £270 fine, £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
He was disqualified from driving for 22 months.
