Man, 83, fined for driving with expired licence
AN 83-YEAR-OLD man has been fined after he drove down the seafront with an expired licence.
David Benedictus, of Sackville Gardens, Hove, pleaded guilty to driving his Rover with a licence that expired on May 16, 2021 on the A259, Kingsway, Hove.
The offence happened on May 31 last year.
Brighton Magistrates ordered Benedictus to pay a total of £74, made up of a £40 fine and a £34 victim surcharge.
