A CHARITY is looking for animal lovers who are willing to open their homes to a foster dog.
Dogs Trust Shoreham is looking to recruit foster carers, who live near its Brighton Road adoption centre, to care for the dogs that are not suited to kennel life.
It follows concerns that many puppies bought during the pandemic will be given up and put up for adoption now that coronavirus restrictions have been lifted.
The team say they are looking for people who live in a household with no children, and have no other cats or dogs.
Fostering though the charity’s Home from Home scheme is free, and the charity provide everything from food, toys, bedding and medication as well as support and advice.
To apply, candidates must be over the age of 18 and be able to travel to its rehoming centre regularly.
