POLICE are investigating the scene of a collision on the A22 after an accident between a car and a cyclist.
Several police vehicles were spotted at the Boship roundabout in Hailsham, with officers laying blue cones around a BMW at the scene.
The A271 Lower Horsebridge is partially blocked, with queueing traffic due to the accident investigation work.
The investigation comes after a man was taken to hospital in a critical condition yesterday following a collision between a white BMW and a bicycle.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to Boship roundabout near the junction with the A271 at Horsebridge shortly after 10am yesterday (January 30).
The man in his 40s suffered serious injuries.
