ARRESTS for assault, robbery and actual bodily harm were among 20 made in one weekend.
Police made 20 arrests in the Chichester and Arun district over the weekend of January 22 and 23.
Arrests were made for offences including actual bodily harm, assault on an emergency worker, criminal damage, robbery, affray, drug driving, drunk and disorderly and wanted on warrant.
In a statement released on social media, Arun Police said: “Our officers have made 20 arrests over the weekend across Arun and Chichester.
“Offences include: Criminal damage, actual bodily harm, assault on an emergency worker, wanted on warrant, affray, drug driving, drunk and disorderly and robbery.”
Arun Police are still appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries following an assault at a pub.
The incident occurred at The Dolphin and Anchor in West Street, Chichester, during the evening of Saturday, January 15.
During the altercation, a 20-year-old local man suffered injuries including a broken ankle.
Police do not know exactly what time the assault occurred as the pub was busy with customers that evening.
