PICTURES show the aftermath of a crash in which a car collided with a tree.
The car was left badly damaged in the A259, Old London Road, Hastings, following a serious collision.
The incident occurred at around 7pm last night and involved a single vehicle.
Sussex Police, Secamb and East Sussex Fire and Rescue, were called to the scene.
An air ambulance was also called but is said not to have been used.
Pictures show the devastating impact to the car, and the bonnet is completely crumpled.
The doors have been removed by fire crews and the front wheels are also missing.
It is thought that at least one person was removed from the vehicle.
Sussex Police, East Sussex Fire and Rescue and Secamb have been contacted for comment.
