A STUDENT who was caught speeding ten times in two months on the same speed camera has been banned from driving.
Lara Bertin, 21, was clocked at more than 40mph seven times and over 30mph three times, mainly in an eight-week period between September and November 2020.
Bertin, who attends the University of Brighton, was caught on the automatic speed camera on the A259 Marine Parade in Brighton.
After the case went to trial at Brighton Magistrates' Court in October 2021 she was found guilty.
As well as banning her from driving for six months, magistrates fined her £960 with £500 costs.
Bertin, of Nutfield, Surrey was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £96, making a total of £1,556.
