DRIVERS will likely experience delays along the A27 this evening as the eastbound carriageway is closed.
The busy road will be closed eastbound from Patcham to Falmer from 8pm tonight to 6am tomorrow to set up narrow lanes for maintenance works.
A lane will then be closed eastbound from tomorrow morning until February 14.
This is as well as the westbound lane that is currently closed at Falmer whilst work is carried out to the central reservation.

National Highways England said: "The A27 eastbound Patcham to Falmer will be closed 8pm til 6am tonight and tomorrow night.
"There is a lane currently closed westbound at Falmer while we carry out maintenance work in the central reservation and a lane will be closed eastbound from the morning."
The delays are due to National Highways performing drainage repairs and maintenance within the central reservation.
This requires the lanes to be closed for worker safety.
