AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into a late night house fire.
Emergency services were called to the residential property in Adams Lane, Northiam, at 12.33am on Thursday, January 6.
Firefighters from Hastings, Battle, The Ridge, Bexhill, Rye and Broad Oak attended the blaze.
Upon arrival, crews found a “large fire in the roof space of the property”, according to an East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.
All occupants of the building were able to evacuate the property before firefighters arrived.
Two hose reels, three main jets and foam were all used to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters also used eight breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras to locate the source of the fire.
A fire investigation is due to take place on Thursday.
