PICTURES taken at the scene show the aftermath of yet another burst sewer pipe.
The images show a large amount of water on the road as cars slowly make their way down Orient Road, Lancing.
It is the fifth time that a pipe has burst in the West Beach area in eight weeks and residents are "fuming".
Nigel Sweet, 63, said: "The fifth sewage burst in eight weeks is once again flowing down our road. No Southern Water response.
"Local residents are really fuming. It was all I could do to keep my temper with the poor woman from Southern Water taking my report this afternoon."
Southern Water has repaired the pipe several times since it first burst in October, but the leaks have continued and people in the area are worried about their houses being flooded.
The Argus understands that Southern Water is holding an emergency meeting this afternoon and will look to fix the repairs as soon as possible.
Southern Water has been approached for comment.
