THESE pictures show the aftermath of a road traffic collision when a driver crashed into a tree.
The shocking images show the car after it hit a tree yesterday evening on the A24 Northbound just past The Black Horse Pub, Findon, near Worthing at around 8pm.
A black car was significantly damaged on impact, but witnesses say the driver was able to walk away from the collision.
Pictures show huge damage to the front of the car, with the bonnet crumpled and its windscreen smashed.

There was reportedly a high level of surface water on the road with police, fire, and ambulance crews called to the scene.
One side of the road was closed for a period whilst emergency services attended the crash.
Sussex Police and The South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
