POLICE have arrested five men on suspicion of money laundering after responding to reports of a burglary.
Officers were called to an address in Church Road, Hove, at 4.50pm yesterday.
Photos from the scene showed a heavy police presence in the area.
Five police cars and two police vans could be seen parked opposite Palmeira Square.
Sussex Police confirmed five men have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering and remain in custody.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police were called to reports of a burglary at an address at Church Road, Hove, at 4.50pm on Tuesday, December 7.
“Five men were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and remain in custody at this stage.”
