POLICE have released an image of two women they want to identify after another woman was hit in the face with a bottle.
She was waiting for a bus replacement service at Three Bridges railway station when a group of young people pushed in front of her in the queue.
The woman challenged the group, who began to push other people around in the queue.
Two women in the group began to shout verbal abuse, according to police.
One then hit the woman who had challenged them over the head with a glass bottle and fled the scene.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment for a deep wound above her eye.
Police are still investigating the assault which happened at about 9.30pm on Saturday, October 9, and have released images of two women they want to speak to.
They believe the women pictured may have information which could help their investigation.
