TRAINS are likely to be delayed or even cancelled as Storm Barra is set to hit the South Coast with gusts of up to 80mph.
A yellow weather warning has been issued across England, including Sussex, for windy conditions as the second named storm of winter is set to make its way across the country.
Southern Rail warned that high winds forecast from around 11am to 8pm will mean trains along certain routes will run at a much slower speed than usual for safety reasons.

Trains between Portsmouth and Southampton will also be affected.
The company advised commuters to check plans before they travel and allow extra time to complete their journey.
They also warned anyone who lives near the railway to "secure any trampolines or garden furniture that may blow onto the railway".
In its warning, which lasts from 9am to 11.59pm, the Met Office said Storm Barra will bring "very windy conditions with severe coastal gales".
South to southeast winds are set to gust to 70-80mph at times across exposed coastal areas, with 50-60mph winds inland.
The Met Office said: "The winds, large coastal waves and high tides may lead to some coastal impacts.
"In addition to wind, showers and longer spells of rain will make for unpleasant and difficult travel conditions."
The weather service said that there is a "small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties" and warned there is also a slight chance that power cuts could occur, with the potential of disruption to other services such as mobile phone coverage.
The weather warning for wind remains in place until tomorrow at 6pm for parts of West Sussex, with strong winds expected to continue to cause potential travel disruption.
