EMERGENCY crews were spotted at the scene after a car overturned along the A27.
Police were scene conducting an investigation around the vehicle, which was seen on its roof on the side of the road.
The vehicle was missing several doors and its back window smashed, with debris strewn near the car.
A post on Twitter saw huge queues of traffic along the road after the crash.
An air ambulance reportedly attended the scene, with the A27 closed eastbound for a time between the A23 and the A270 near Brighton.
