A MAN has been accused of leaving three dogs in a hot car for two hours during the summer.
Mark Agyeman-Anane, 27, denies leaving the animals in a vehicle without access to water and failing to regularly check on their welfare.
Agyeman-Anane, of Elfrida Crescent, south east London, is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to the dogs - Dior, Prince and Caramel - in Portslade in August last year.
He also denies having a fighting dog, namely Caramel, a pit bull terrier.
Brighton magistrates adjourned the case to February 2 next year.
