A FAMILY law firm has scooped two awards in a prestigious ceremony as it turns ten.
In the same year that Family Law Partners has celebrated its 10th anniversary, the team has been recognised at the Family Law Awards 2021.
The Brighton firm won in two categories: Family Law Firm of the Year (South) and Family Law Dispute Resolution Team of the Year at the event in London on November 24.
Robert Williams and Alan Larkin, founding directors of Family Law Partners, said: “We're thrilled that our focus on dispute resolution and the specialist skills of our team has been recognised at these prestigious Family Law Awards.
"The two awards, together with our first appearance in The Times Best Law Firms 2022, are testament to our dedicated team who work tirelessly to support our clients and each other every day.
"The national award for Dispute Resolution Team of the Year is a particularly proud moment for us as DR has been in our DNA from the day we opened our doors 10 years ago.
"We encourage our clients to look for alternative ways to reduce the emotional and financial cost of separation to them and their families and believe passionately that this is the future of family law.
"It means a great deal to our team to be recognised externally by the family law community as we continue to grow as a firm, and it feels serendipitous to have this success after celebrating our 10th anniversary this year.”
Originally established in 2011, the Family Law Awards recognise the work of family lawyers and celebrate their successes and achievements.
The winners were chosen by a judging panel made up of the heads of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution and the Association of Lawyers for Children, along with Family Law editors and publishing executives.
The Family Law Partners recognition at the awards follows the recent news of inclusion in The Times Best Law Firms 2022 which recognises the most highly regarded law firms in England and Wales as recommended by legal professionals.
