THREE people were hurt when a bus crashed into a garden wall this afternoon on its way from Brighton to Eastbourne.
The accident, which happened at 12.45pm this afternoon, involved a Brighton and Hove number 12 bus which was heading along the A259 near Beacon Road in Seaford.
Pictures from the scene show the bus in a front garden with the flint wall destroyed.
An ambulance can also be seen and the driver and two passengers were treated at the scene by paramedics.
Brighton and Hove Buses said it is conducting a full investigation of the accident.
The bus was taken away on a recovery lorry just before 5pm.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "A bus collided with a wall in Beacon Road at the junction with Hawth Way, Seaford, at 12.45pm.
"The driver and two passengers were treated at the scene by paramedics."
Ed Wills, managing director for Brighton and Hove Buses, said: "An incident took place earlier today that involved one of our buses.
"Our response team arrived at the location straight away to provide support and we are currently in the process of conducting a full investigation. The bus has been recovered from the scene."
