A CAR crashed through the wall of a block of flats.
Fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Donald Hall Road, Brighton, at 2.43pm on Friday.
Pictures from the scene show the black car embedded into the side of the building, at the bottom of a grass embankment.
The backs wheels of the car appeared to have smashed through the window of a ground floor flat.
A spokesman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to attend an RTC on Donald Hall Road, Brighton.
“Firefighters from Lewes and Roedean attended. On arrival, crews found one car which had rolled down the hill and hit a residential property.
“No persons were trapped and building control were called to assess the damage.
“Sussex Police were also in attendance to assist with the recovery of the vehicle.”
Recovery crews continued to work to remove the car late into the evening.
Sussex Police have also been contacted for a statement.
