A WOMAN has been fined for making racially aggravated threats and stealing flowers from a supermarket.
Tori Simms has been ordered to pay £296 by Worthing Magistrates’ Court after using threatening and abusive words with intent to cause a man to believe violence would be used against him.
The offence was found to be racially aggravated.
The 22-year-old also stole flowers worth £5.99 from Lidl.
Both offences occurred in Chichester on November 21, 2020.
Simms, of Ragle Road, Bognor Regis, pleaded not guilty to both charges, but later changed her plea to guilty.
She was fined £162 for the threats and will have to pay £100 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
Simms will pay £20 per month, commencing from February 3, 2022.
