A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and assault after a person was hit by a car.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident near Bluecoat Sports Centre at Christ Hospital in Horsham.
A black Range Rover was reportedly driving dangerously in the area between 9.55am and 10.15am on Saturday, October 30.
One person was hit by the vehicle, causing minor injuries.
A 47-year-old man from Horsham has since been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Officers are urging anyone who saw what happened – in particular anyone with dash cam footage – to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 426 of 30/10.
“We would urge the public not to speculate as our investigation is ongoing,” a police spokeswoman added.
