A TEENAGER had his head in his hands as two ladies danced away to the historic anthem for Sussex next to him for Albion's last two home matches.
The young man, who might have thought it was a one off when Albion faced Arsenal on October 2, looked just as embarrassed when the ladies starting dancing to “good old Sussex by the sea” again when Albion hosted Manchester City last weekend.
Luckily for him, Brighton make the trip up to Anfield today as they take on Liverpool.
But he might be “terrified” again when the pre-match anthem returns for Brighton’s home match against Newcastle next weekend.
The hilarious clip was noticed on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday this morning, with John Fendley dressed as Jeff Stelling saying to “spare a thought for one young man down on the South coast”.
He said: “Do you know what absolutely terrifies him? It’s not werewolves, it’s not vampires, it’s not ghosts… It’s the old lady getting up and dancing next to him at the crowd in Brighton!
“At least it was a one off wasn’t it? Of course it wasn’t! She’s a season ticket holder! She was there at the Manchester City game embarrassing him again. We absolutely love her for it."
Does he know them? Are they an embarrassing mum or relative?
We would love to speak with them!
