PICTURES show the remains of a burnt-out lorry after a fire on the A27.
The road near Hollingbury was closed in both directions as a result of the blaze which happened at 5.52pm Tuesday, October 26.
The HGV lorry was travelling eastbound towards Falmer, but the fire caused major delays in both directions.

There were no reported injuries at the scene.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and Sussex Police both attended the scene.
Police Constable Simon Dove, of the Sussex Police Road Policing Unit, said both lanes were closed for a considerable period of time.
He also said there was “probable road damage” caused by the fire.
According to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, as of 7.45pm, three fire engines and three officers were still in attendance at the scene.
A diesel spill also had to be cleared.
Road users were encouraged to avoid the area by police.
As of 10.15pm on Monday, lane one of the A27 westbound carriageway between Hollingbury and Falmer had reopened.
The other westbound lanes, as well as the eastbound carriageway, remained closed overnight while Highways Agencies worked to clean the road.
