A MAN has reported being raped in a bush behind a department store.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man said he was raped in the vicinity of Robertson Terrace in Hastings in the early hours of Sunday, October 24.
The incident took place in an area of bushes off the A259, behind the old Debenhams store.
The suspect is a white man in his late 30s or early 40s with blonde hair.
The victim is being supported by specialist officers while enquiries are ongoing.
“People can expect to see a continued police presence in the area as the investigation progresses,” a police spokesman said.
