Halloween is only a few weeks away now, and many of us will be looking for decorations and costumes in preparation for the season.
Pumpkins and pumpkin carving are also staples of this time of year, which requires you to go out and find your own.
Whilst finding one from a supermarket is useful, many people like the experience of going out to a farm to pick their own out.
There are quite a few places in Sussex to go out and do this so here is a list of those farms.

Opening times: 10am - 5.30pm
With the farm having grown 20 acres of pumpkins that gives you around 150,000 to choose from until October 31.
There are plenty of opportunities for photos, with various backdrops provided and some live roaming characters including Gourdy the jester and Sage the wizard.
Alongside that there are some times available for night time pumpkin picks from 6pm to 10pm.

There's plenty to do at Sompting Picking Patch aside from choosing among thousands of the fruit in the fields.
Crafts in 'Pumpkinology' and photo opportunities aplenty are on offer.

Opening times: Ocotber 16-31 10am-4pm
A no-frills sort of pumpkin picking can be found at South Farm in Rodmell.
Wear some wellies and enjoy the simple pleasures of the outdoors.
Address: Poynings Road, Poynings, Brighton BN45 7AP
Opening times: October 9-10, 16-17 and 23-31 from 10am to 4pm.
No entry free is required at Poynings Farm, just grab a wheelbarrow and pay for the pumpkin you choose.
There is a burger van for refreshments and like most patches, an opportunity for an Instagram-worthy picture to be taken.
