A HOTEL hosting Labour Party conference events has been evacuated.
Emergency services were called to Queens Hotel in Kings Road, Brighton, at about 7.15am on Wednesday, September 29.
Pictures from the scene show a number of police cars, ambulances and fire crews on the seafront.
The Labour Party has been holding its five-day conference in Brighton this week.
Queens Hotel has hosted six fringe events for the conference, including speeches from Kim Leadbeater, Ian Murray and Liz Kendall.
Labour Party leader Keir Starmer is due to give a keynote speech at midday to mark the end of the event. It will be his first in-person conference address.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
