A MAJOR carriageway was closed in both directions after a motorcycle collided with two cars.
Emergency services responded to a serious collision in A26 Uckfield Road, Ringmer, at around 3.45pm on Sunday.
A motorcyclist is reported to have been involved in a collision with two cars.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "Anybody who witnessed the collision or has any dash cam footage which could help with enquiries can contact police online or by calling 101, quoting Operation Anchor."
